I’m thinking of paying off my car loan early but need advice : personalfinance

So I recently was able to refinance my student loans and bring the interest rate down from 9.3% on average to 4.3% and save $540 a month in payments. My wife and I are expecting our first child this September and looking to buy a house in the near future. (currently living rent-free)When I spoke with a first-time home buyer rep where we live he gave me some good data points.

Since then I’ve paid all my credit cards down to zero and pay them off in full each month. I just have just the student loans and car payments. My car loan is currently a balance of $15,638.17 APR is 7.64% and my monthly payment is $335.67 with 52 payments remaining. I have the extra money to pay off my car loan in a year or so but was wondering if I should do that and how that’d work if I have to trade my car in if he have more kids than my car cant handle. I have a Jeep Cherokee and she has a smaller car. Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated!
